No-Vig Calculator

Enter both prices of a two-sided market. We remove the bookmaker's hold and return the fair odds and fair probability for each side.

The two-sided market

Hold (vig)
Fair odds, Side A
Fair probability, Side A
Fair odds, Side B
Fair probability, Side B

What the vig is

The vig (or "juice," or "hold") is the bookmaker's built-in cut. On a coin-flip market a fair price is +100 on each side, but a book posts -110 / -110, and those two prices imply a total probability over 100%. That overround is the hold. The classic -110 / -110 market carries about a 4.76% hold.

How to use it

Enter both sides. The calculator normalizes the two implied probabilities back to 100%, which strips the vig and leaves the fair, no-juice price and probability for each side. That fair number is what you compare your bet against to find value: feed it into the EV Calculator.
