Week of Oct 19

  1. IMPROVED The Classic Linesheet now lists games that start at the same time in rotation number order, and downloads for Excel with each game shaded and boxedGames are listed by start time, then by the rotation number the sportsbooks use, so the sheet lines up with the betting screens. Download for Excel sits next to the CSV: the same rows, with every other game shaded, a heavier line between games and the header row frozen.

Week of Oct 12

  1. IMPROVED Sharp Lotto is the new name for the lotto board, and it lists middles only: two bets at different numbers that lose a little if the result misses the window and win both when it lands in itSingle long shots stay on the +EV board. Old links to the board, shared plays and alerts still open the right page.
  2. IMPROVED The Linesheet now shows game times in your own time zone, and each game's two teams read as a pairTimes, dates and the download are on your device's clock, with the zone named (Eastern when we cannot tell). Games are listed by start time the way DraftKings and FanDuel list them. On the Classic Linesheet each game is its own block, every other game is shaded, the home team reads "at", and the download numbers each game so its two rows stay together.
  3. FIXED When a league's only game of the night starts, it now stays on the Live BoardOn Saturday's one-game MLB night, the rescheduled ALCS game dropped off the Live Board a few minutes after first pitch. Games held by a rain delay now show Rain Delay on their card, and a rained-out game's makeup is no longer taken off the board as finished.
  4. IMPROVED Sharp Lotto and every alert now use your My Books, and Sharp Lotto shows how to bet each playAlerts only name books in your My Books, the same list as the rest of the site. Sharp Lotto shows the stake on each side for your stake, can apply a boost from your Profit Boost Wallet, and sends both bets to your Bet Tracker.
  5. IMPROVED Sharp Lotto now means lotto-shaped: long shots and middles priced better than fair, no arbsEvery play wins at least 5 times what it risks and hits less than a quarter of the time. Long shots from the +EV board join the middles, with chips to show either. Arbs stay on the Arb Scan and the Hedge Finder.
  6. NEW The iPhone app now tells you when a newer version is out, with one tap to update it from the App StoreA slim bar at the top of the page, under the header, that never covers anything. Close it and it stays away for three days.
  7. FIXED The Historical Odds Data page's top line no longer gives a start date that has already passedIt now says what full history costs today.
  8. NEW Sharp Lotto alerts: set a minimum +EV % and get one alert per new play that meets itAdd a minimum multiplier, the most you will risk per $100, leagues and books if you like. Each alert names the play, its +EV %, risk, win and price time, and is re-checked at a $100 bet before it goes out. Set it from Alert Me on Sharp Lotto or on the Alerts page.
  9. NEW Expected profit in dollars beside every +EV % on Sharp Lotto, the Middle Finder and every lotto stripThe same number as the +EV %, at your stake, for example "Expected profit $2.10 · You risk $10 to win $190". A middle below break-even shows its expected loss in red.
  10. IMPROVED Sharp Lotto links to every middle that pays 5x or more, including ones below break-evenThe Middle Finder has a new Pays 5x+ filter, opens sorted by +EV %, and its filter bar now matches the Line Shop's. Sharp Lotto itself still lists only +EV plays.
  11. IMPROVED Boost Arb takes fewer taps: Add A Boost goes straight to the form, the expiry date is optional, and one button adds the boost and runs the checkMissing fields are named under the button instead of a pop-up.
  12. IMPROVED Historical Odds Data is in the More menu on phones, alerts show a clear On, and the app's welcome tour is a small card that never covers a price
  13. FIXED Every page that shows prices now carries 21+ and 1-800-GAMBLER in its footer, on the website and in the apps
  14. NEW The Linesheet adds a Classic sheet you can print for every sport, with two rows a game, each team's records, a Notes column and AP Top 25 ranks for college teamsSpreads sit on the favorite's row and totals on the underdog's, written with the half sign, and Print / Save as PDF fits about 40 games on a letter page.
  15. NEW New Linesheet page: download this week's lines for any league as a spreadsheet, from the books you pickLines only by default, or with the odds in their own columns, plus the opening line and the consensus. Opens in Google Sheets or Excel.
  16. NEW The Hedge Finder lists your open tracked bets, Track This Hedge logs the hedge with its bet as one position, and the Bet Tracker adds book balances, bet result alerts and more ways to split your recordTrack on the Bet Slip asks what you bet and links straight to the new bet.
