About The Odds Gap
The Odds Gap is a free line-shopping tool for US sports bettors. Throughout the day, it scans every major sportsbook (and Kalshi) for the same bets and shows you who is offering the best price. If two books are paying different odds on the same team, you see it instantly.
That's the whole pitch. There is no model, no algorithm picking winners, no "lock of the day." This site does not tell you who to bet. It tells you where to bet, once you've already decided.
Why it exists
The single most reliable edge in retail sports betting is line shopping. Two bettors who pick the same winners but bet at different books will, over a long enough sample, finish thousands of dollars apart on the same picks. The gap between the best price and the worst price on a popular game can be 10 to 30 cents of juice on the moneyline, or a half-point on the spread.
Almost no one shops their lines. The books know this, and that's why they don't match each other. Every cent of price difference is money that the average bettor leaves on the table.
The Odds Gap exists to fix that. Instead of opening seven sportsbook tabs to find out which one is paying +112 instead of +106 on the team you've already decided to back, you open one.
Who runs it
The Odds Gap is a one-person operation, built by a sports bettor first and a builder second. The Odds Gap is not affiliated with any sportsbook, syndicate, or tout service. The Odds Gap LLC is not a registered investment advisor and nothing on this site is investment, financial, or gambling advice.
The site runs on a small self-funded server. Data comes from a paid odds feed and from public APIs. There is no venture capital, no hidden sponsorship deal, and no algorithm secretly steering you toward one book over another.
If The Odds Gap eventually carries affiliate links to sportsbooks, those links will be labeled, and the underlying odds-comparison data will never be weighted in favor of a partner. Wherever the best price actually is, that's what The Odds Gap shows you.
What's free
Everything on the site today is free. No login, no paywall, no "unlock the +EV plays" gimmick. The free tier scans every major sportsbook (and Kalshi) throughout the day and shows the results to anyone who visits.
A paid tier may exist down the road. If it does, it would be built around faster data refreshes for bettors who want to catch line moves sooner. The math behind every metric would stay identical across tiers. Nothing is in place today and nothing is being held back.
