How Sharp Lotto Works

Every Sharp Lotto play is a middle: two bets at two books on opposite sides of the same game or player prop, an over at one number and an under at a higher one, or two spreads that overlap. When the result misses the window, one ticket wins and the other loses, and you lose a little. When it lands in the window, both tickets win. A play is listed when you can win at least 5 times the most you can lose, the chance of landing in the window is under 25%, and its +EV % is above zero.

Every row shows the same numbers. Risk is what the two tickets lose together when only one wins. Win is what the two tickets come out ahead together when both win. Chance is the market's own: the books' prices with the vig removed, the same way the +EV board reads a fair price. The multiplier is Win over Risk, and +EV % is the expected profit over the total stake. The line under it says the same thing in dollars at your stake: Expected profit is the +EV % times the stake, so on $100 a +2.1% play reads $2.10. It is an average at the market's own chance, not a promise of what any one play pays. Most middles miss; the price is what makes them worth a look.

Arbs are not here: an arb risks nothing to win a little every time, the opposite of a lotto ticket. They are on the Arb Scan and the Hedge Finder. Single bets priced above fair are on the +EV board. Prices move, often before you place the bet, so re-check the price at the book first. Want the math on your own pair? The Middle Calculator shows the same strip. All middles, including the ones that miss these rules, are on the Middle Finder.

Math, not picks. Nothing here says what a play will earn over time.
