Spread shows the home side at the consensus line with the best price among books quoting that line. Total shows the Over at the consensus number. Prediction market prices include trading fees, so they are directly comparable to sportsbook lines.

Baseball runs a full slate almost every day, and with so many games the price on a moneyline or run line can vary by 15 to 20 cents between books. The Odds Gap compares every MLB moneyline, run line, and total across 18 sportsbooks and the prediction exchanges so you can take the best number on the side you want.

The flag on each line marks the single best number available at the latest scan: the highest-paying moneyline on either side, the best juice at the 1.5-run line, and the best Over price at the consensus total. The free board scans hourly from 7am to 9pm ET and Live Beta refreshes every minute, which matters in baseball because lineup cards and starting-pitcher news reprice games all afternoon.

The regular season runs from late March through September, followed by the postseason in October, and a typical day carries 12 to 15 games. That volume is the point: more games means more chances for one book to drift off the market, and the biggest per-game gaps on this site routinely come from the daily MLB slate.

Why MLB odds differ between sportsbooks

Every sportsbook sets its own prices. On the same MLB game, one book might post a side at -105 while another has it at -118. That difference is not noise: over a season of bets, taking the better number on every wager is often the difference between a winning and losing record. The Odds Gap scans 18 US sportsbooks plus the Kalshi, Polymarket, and ProphetX exchanges every minute on the live board and flags where the best price sits on each line.

How to read this page

Each row is one upcoming MLB game. The moneyline columns show the single best price available on each side and which book has it. The spread column shows the home side at the market's consensus line, priced at the best juice among books quoting that line. The total shows the Over at the consensus number. For every book's price on every market, open the game in the Line Shop.

Moneyline, spread, and total in one sentence each

The moneyline is a bet on who wins, priced by how likely that is. The spread handicaps the favorite by points, so both sides pay close to even money. The total is a bet on the combined score going Over or Under a number. Whatever you bet, the only edge a recreational bettor reliably controls is the price, which is what this site exists to compare.

MLB odds: frequently asked questions

What is the best sportsbook for MLB odds?

The best MLB price changes game to game, so rather than name one book, this page shows which sportsbook has the top number on each side right now.

What is the run line in baseball?

The run line is baseball's spread, almost always set at 1.5 runs: the favorite must win by 2 or more, or the underdog must lose by 1 or win outright.

Does The Odds Gap have MLB player props?

Yes. The Props page compares hits, total bases, home runs, RBIs, strikeouts, stolen bases, and the hits plus runs plus RBIs combo across books and Kalshi.

Where can I bet on MLB games?

Every legal US sportsbook prices the daily MLB slate, but they disagree constantly. Filter this page to the books legal in your state and take whichever one holds the flag on your side.
