Which sportsbook actually held the best price, how often, and in which sport. Every report is built from the prices The Odds Gap recorded that month, with the sample size and date range printed next to every figure. A month is finalised when it closes and is not revised afterwards.
Best-price share is the share of the sides a venue quoted where its price was at or tied for the highest payout of every venue quoting that same side. It is not the matched-lines metric: because the denominator is only the sides a venue chose to quote, it rewards selective quoting, which is why every figure is printed next to that venue's coverage. Each month states which venue was at or tied for the best price most often and on how many sides, a full ranked leaderboard with per-venue sample sizes, a per-sport breakdown for every sport with enough recorded prices to rank on, a like-for-like comparison of the prediction markets against the traditional sportsbooks, and the single widest price gap recorded that month.
Sports that were scanned but did not reach the sample threshold are listed with their real counts and marked insufficient rather than ranked anyway. Nothing on these pages is estimated or scaled up.
